Who we are
Swift BPO is a specialist recruitment consultancy. We decide how the personal information described here is used, which makes us its controller. You can contact us about your information at info@swift-bpo.com, or write to us at Digbeth Court Business Centre, 162–164 High Street, Birmingham B12 0LD.
Who this notice covers
- Candidates we represent or consider representing.
- People at organisations we contact about candidates.
- Visitors to this website.
What we hold
Candidates: your name and contact details, your CV and career history, notes from our conversations, including our interview, and the kind of role you are looking for.
People at organisations: your name, job title, organisation and business contact details, and a record of our contact with you.
Website visitors: this website does not use cookies or similar technology to track you or to analyse visits. Like any website, it runs on servers that keep basic technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site secure.
Where it comes from
From you; from job boards and CV databases where you have made your CV available; from replies to our adverts; and, for people at organisations, from publicly available sources such as organisations’ own websites, LinkedIn and Companies House, and from business contact databases.
Why we use it, and the law that allows it
- To represent candidates and find them suitable roles: our legitimate interest in helping people find work, and your agreement before we introduce you to any employer.
- To contact organisations about candidates who may suit them: our legitimate interest in introducing suitable candidates. You can tell us to stop at any time.
- To keep the records the law requires of a recruitment business: our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- Employers we introduce you to, with your agreement.
- Technology providers that help us run our business, under contracts that protect your information.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We never sell personal information.
Outside the UK
Some of our technology providers process information outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards UK data protection law provides, such as adequacy regulations or approved contract terms.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it for the purposes above, and for any period the law requires. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we will, and we keep only what we need to make sure we don’t contact you again.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or, where it applies, to receive a copy to take elsewhere. You can object to our use of it, including being contacted, and withdraw your agreement at any time. Email info@swift-bpo.com.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
